The EUDR Has Been Amended ā Twice
The EU Deforestation Regulation (Regulation 2023/1115) was originally set to apply from December 2024. However, the European Commission recognised that companies ā especially small and medium-sized enterprises ā needed more time and clearer guidance to comply.
In December 2024, the EU adopted the first round of amendments, followed by a second package in December 2025.
